Call for Nominations for Candidates for the 2016 Japanese Society for Cryobiology and Cryotechnology Awards
The Japanese Society for Cryobiology and Cryotechnology has established the Society Award and Young Scientist Award to recognize outstanding research outcomes in the fields of cryobiology and cryotechnology. The Society Award recognizes a current or past member of the Society, while the Young Scientist Award acknowledges a younger researcher among the current members who has presented an excellent study and displayed a promising future as a scientist in these fields (candidates should be less than 40 years of age on April 1 of the year the award is presented).
Members may make a nomination by sending the documents listed below to the Society office. If a member is recommending himself/herself as an award candidate, please include the contact information of two people (name, institution, contact address, etc.) as referrals.
Documents required for nominating candidates for the Japanese Society of Cryobiology and Cryotechnology Society Award and Young Scientist Award:
(1) | Title of the study on which the nomination is based. |
(2) | Name, institute and contact information of the nominating member and the nominated scientist. |
(3) | Reason(s) for nomination including association of the candidate to the Society (Society Award: maximum 2,000 letters in Japanese; Young Scientist Award: 1,500 letters). |
(4) | List of research achievements related to the Award. |
(5) | Reprints of published papers (Society Award: 5 articles; Young Scientist Award: 3 articles. Photocopies acceptable). |
(6) | Electric files for documents (1) to (5) listed above. |
