Objective
The Japanese Society for Cryobiology and Cryotechnology was established to promote basic and applied studies in low temperature, freezing and drying using organisms and organism-related entities as study materials, as well as to contribute to development of technologies in related science fields.
The Society works to achieve these goals through the following activities:
- Organizing meetings to present research results and lectures
- Issuing publications
- Recognizing outstanding research results through presentation of awards to encourage researchers
- Facilitating communication and cooperation with academic societies in related fields
- Managing and conducting other activities necessary to support these goals
