防衛医科大学校病院の尿道形成術 手術実績（2003年8月～2023年12月）

手術成功率* 94.6%
* 内視鏡や尿道造影で再狭窄がなく、ブジーなどの追加処置を一切要すること無く、満足いく排尿が可能になった患者さんの割合です。世界的に手術症例数の多い海外のハイボリュームセンターから発表された尿道形成術の成功率（約80%～90%）1,2と同等の治療成績です。特に、騎乗型外傷や骨盤骨折による外傷性尿道狭窄症に対する尿道形成術の成功率は、米国のレベルⅠ外傷センター（米国で最も高レベルの外傷治療を担う施設）を含む海外のハイボリュームセンター5-9と並び、世界トップレベルです（騎乗型外傷327例、骨盤骨折271例、合計598例中581例成功、成功率97.2%）。
尿道形成術 手術件数の推移
当院では数多くの尿道形成術を行っています。2020年から2022年はコロナ禍で病院が手術を制限しなければならなかったため減少しましたが、2023年は再び増加傾向となりました。海外のハイボリュームセンターと同等以上の尿道形成術を行っています（左下図）。尿道狭窄症でお困りの患者さんは日本全国に数多くいらっしゃいます。防衛医科大学校病院のある埼玉県や近隣の関東圏だけでなく、北海道や九州といった遠方からも治療を受けに来られる患者さんが数多くいます（右下図）。
