Submission of Abstracts

September 16(Wed)-November 16(Mon), 2015

  1. Abstracts must be submitted via this Website only
  2. Abstracts submitted via fax, e-mail or CD-R will not be accepted.
  3. Abstracts will be selected by the Scientific Committee.
  4. Accepted abstracts will be published and distributed at the Conference.
  5. Abstracts must be original.
  6. All participants will be expected to present oral presentations.
  7. Allotted time for presentation will be decided by the review board.
  8. Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline.

Abstract Preparation

  1. Make the abstract title in all upper case
    The title should be brief, indicating the nature of the investigation.
  2. Omit degrees, titles, and appointments of authors
    The first author listed should be the presenter at the Conference.
  3. Indicate the city and country of origin of the study
  4. Style of your presentation is as follows:
    1. Oral presentation is mandatory. All participants will be expected to present oral presentations. Allotted time for presentation will be decided by the review board.
    2. Poster: There is an option to bring a poster with you that you will be able to post at the conference.
  5. Organize the body of the abstract as follows:
    1. A brief statement of the purpose of the study;
    2. A statement of the method(s) of investigation;
    3. A summary of the results presented in sufficient detail to support the conclusions;
    4. The conclusions reached.
      (It is not acceptable to state "The results will be discussed.")
  6. Use standard abbreviations
    Place unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word for the first time it appears. Please keep abbreviated terms to a minimum.
  7. Use non-proprietary (Generic) names for drugs
  8. Make your abstract concise – it is limited to 300 words
