Information for Chairpersons / 座長へのご案内
■ Instructions for Chairpersons
- Please be seated at the chairperson's table at least 10 minutes before your session begins or during the preceding break.
- A timing display is located in the front row of the venue. Please strictly observe the allotted times for presentations and discussions to ensure the session runs smoothly.
- Chairpersons have discretion in managing their sessions within the allocated time. Please refer to the program for each presentation's time allocation.
- Many students will be participating. After highly technical discussions, students may hesitate to ask questions. We kindly ask senior researchers and professors to hold back on immediate comments, giving students the opportunity to speak first.
- Discussions should, in principle, be conducted in the language of the presentation. However, to encourage active participation, chairpersons may accept questions in either Japanese or English. If a speaker has difficulty understanding a question in the other language, co-authors or chairpersons may provide assistance.
