For Presenters

General instructions

1) In principle, photographing and video recording are prohibited in order to protect patients’ privacy.
  Participants can shoot only exhibits indicated by a “Photography/videotaping allowed” sign.
  Presenters must attach the sign to their exhibit panels or desks.
  If you are a presenter of such an exhibit, be sure to pay close attention to the protection of patients’ privacy.

2) Please be sure to duplicate poster exhibits before displaying. JOS and the Secretariat are not responsible
  for any loss or damage of displayed poster exhibits, whatever the cause.

1. Academic exhibits

(1) Academic exhibits will be displayed on October 18 (Tue.), 19 (Wed.) and 20 (Thu.).
  The display will not change throughout the 3 days.

(2) Exhibit presenters are required to carry the exhibits into the hall from 9:00 to 10:30 on October 18 (Tue.) and
   carry them out from 14:30 to 15:30 on October 20 (Thu.).
   Presenters do not need to come to the reception desk when carrying exhibits into the hall.
   Drawing pins will be provided, together with exhibit panels. Use of adhesive or other tape is not allowed.
   Please be reminded that the Secretariat will dispose of all exhibits left after the designated carrying out-time
   on October 20 (Thu.).

(3) Please adhere to the following guidelines in displaying academic exhibits.
   A. Exhibit numbers will be allocated by the Secretariat.
   B. The attachment area on each poster exhibit panel is 119 (W) x 210 (H) cm. Presenters must attach their name,
    affiliation and exhibit title to the panel’s upper right area of 90 (W) x 26 (H) cm. Presenters must also attach an ID photo
    (color, 2L size) to the left of the exhibit title. (See figure for reference.)
  C. Desks 120 (W) x 45 (D) x 70 (H) cm will be provided to presenters, as per prior request.
    Note that use of adesk will reduce the size of attachment area of poster exhibit panel to 119 (W) x 140 (H) cm, including area
    for attaching presenter’s photo and exhibit title. Note also that requests for additional desks on exhibition days
    will not be accepted.

(4) A question and answer time is scheduled for October 19 (Wed.), from 11:00 to 12:00. Presenters are requested
  to remain in the vicinity of their display area during that time.

2. Case Exhibits

Follow above instructions (1) to (4) for academic exhibit presenters.

3 . Case reports

(1) Case report will be conducted for three days.

(2) Presenters are required to carry the exhibits into the hall from 9:00 to 10:00 on October 18 (Tue.) and carry them out
   from 14:30 to 15:30 on October 20 (Thu.).

(3) Please adhere to the following guidelines in displaying case report exhibits.
   A. A desk (180 (W) x 60 (D) cm) will be provided to each presenter.
   B. Presenters must display a folder of material and models.
   C. Make sure to put the page of summary of case report on the top of the sheets in the material folder.

(4) Model examination is scheduled to start at 10:00 on October 18 (Tue.) and interview by the Certification Committee will start
   at 13:30 on the same day. Presenters are requested to wait their turn in the vicinity of their display area
   during the interview time.

(5) If the schedule of model examination or interview is changed, the Registration Secretariat will inform
  each presenter separately.
  * Open exhibition for general participants is scheduled to start at 15:30 on October 18 (Tue.) after the completion
   of the model examination and interview.
