Participants of the goodwill reception are warned that the name of the reception venue was printed erroneously as "Amakusa." The correct venue is "Aso."

Important notes on offline sessions

  1. Participants are requested to wear facial masks.
  2. Please refrain from attending if:
    Ａ）If you have fever of 37.5℃
    Ｂ）If there are symptoms such as cough, sore throat, difficulty in breathing, etc.
    Ｃ）If under health observations by the public health center, etc.
    Ｄ）In case of other signs of ill health (including loss or change in taste and smell or strong sense of fatigue)

Participation fee

  • General admission: 13,000 yen

[Persons eligible for preferential admission]

  • Participants of the 18th Japanese Society for Inherited Metabolic Diseases Seminar (non-member): 10,000 yen
  • Persons who became Society member after attending the 18th Japanese Society for Inherited Metabolic Diseases: 6,000 yen
    * The Conference Office will check into seminar participation status of the person
  • Medical personnel other than undergraduate and graduate students and medical doctors: 6,000 yen
    * Undergraduate and graduate students are requested to show their student ID cards.
    * Applies to non-members as of the 18th conference.

Other fees

Goodwill reception fee: 5,000 yen
Goodwill reception fee (Patients Group): 2,000 yen
Compendium of the Proceedings: 2,000 yen each

* Please contact the Japanese Society for Inherited Metabolic Diseases Conference Office to apply for membership or purchase the Compendium.

Advance registration (online registration)

Due to congestion anticipated at the reception desk for same-day registration, please complete your registration online by November 18 (Fri).
Deadline for online registration: January 31 (Tue), 2023, 12:00 p.m. (until end of VOD streaming period).
* Registration is accepted throughout the duration of the Conference. Registration is accepted on the Conference homepage.
Please note that there is no refund after fee payment. Please read the information thoroughly in advance before registration.

After completing online registration:
Copies of proof of registration and payment receipt are downloadable after registration login. If you have not, please inquire with liaison personnel for advance registration at reception

ID and password will be shown in the registration completion notice email.

Simultaneous interpreting service

To foster mutual understanding of outstanding presentations from Japan and other countries, bi-directional simultaneous interpreting is available for your service in Hall 1. Interpreting can be heart via the Zoom app. Please be sure to have the app installed on your device, such as mobile phone or notebook PC.

Cautionary notes

  • Please set your mobile phone to silent mode inside the Hall.
    Also, please refrain from making phone calls in the Hall.
  • Still photography, videography and audio recording are strictly prohibited inside the Hall.

Warning on theft

Please beware of thefts. There had been reports of theft in the Conference venue.
Please be sure to keep your valuables with you at all times, including while the session is in progress.

Contact with participants

Announcements will not be made to contact participants in the venue.
In case of an emergency, please inquire with General Information (reception desk on the 2nd floor).

Car parking

There is no car parking exclusively allocated for Conference participants.
