Banks are open from Monday to Friday, 9:00-15:00 (Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays). Automatic teller machines (ATMs) are available for withdrawing by credit card everyday (except national holidays) from 9:00 to 19:00 at almost all major banks. In Kanazawa St., 7-Eleven has ATM that accepts credit cards issued outside Japan including with English user menu.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners Club cards are widely accepted at hotels, department stores, shops, and restaurants as well as at major train stations.
