Message from Chairs

We are pleased to announce that our five academic societies will jointly hold the event titled “Cardiovascular and Metabolic Week 2021 (CVMW 2021)” at Kurume City Plaza on December 10 (Friday) and 11 (Saturday), 2021. During the event period, each of the academic societies will also hold its own annual meeting—the 25th Annual Meeting of the Society of Cardiovascular Endocrinology and Metabolism, the 38th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Section of the International Society for Heart Research (ISHR), the 57th Annual Meeting of the Society for Hypertension Related Disease Model Research, the 43rd Cardiac Biopsy Conference Annual Meeting, and the 29th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Vascular Biology and Medicine Organization.

The unifying theme of CVMW2021 is “Cardiovascular Research—A Fundamental Aspect of Integrated Science: Creation of New Values.” To commemorate this opportunity, we are also planning to co-host events such as special lectures and symposiums, which participants can look forward to attending. We hope that CVMW2021 will bring together researchers from a wide range of disciplines to interact, further develop each academic society, and help deepen research in each specialized field. We are now making concerted preparations to ensure that CVMW2021 will satisfy participants from each academic society.
