Multiple Advisor System

Each GPLLI student is assigned an assistant advisor from another discipline, in addition to his or her main advisor. Assistant advisors are selected from among program faculty members or others in comparable positions.

Financial Aid for GPLLI Students

Beginning in the second year of a master's program (or the first year in the case of the 4-year doctoral programs for Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences), GPLLI students are provided with a monthly subsidy of ¥80,000. Beginning in the first year of a doctoral program (or the second year in the case of the 4-year doctoral programs for Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences), GPLLI students are provided with a monthly subsidy of ¥180,000. The subsidies are provided to GPLLI students until the time at which they acquire a doctoral degree. However, the maximum period during which subsidies are provided is 4 years (or 5 years in the case of students who begin from the master's program for Medical Science).
