An annular eclipse (金環食) is a solar eclipse in which the moon covers the center of the sun and sunlight forms a ring shape around the moon. I was impressed about the shadows that were representing the shape of the sun. The photographs were taken at the front gate of Nagoya City University during the eclipse on 21 May 2012.
Just on time of the annual eclipse, the clouds were breaking.
My shadow happen to be generated by the reflection from the windows of a building of Nagoya City University.
The shadows on the ground were representing the shape of the sun.
