Chapter 1 General rule

1. This society is called Japanese Society for Neuroendoscopy (JSNE).
2. For the time being, the office of this Society shall be located in the Department of Neurosurgery Keio University School of Medicine.
The address: 35 Shinanomachi, Sinjuku-ku, Tokyo 160-8582, Japan

Chapter 2 Objective and Duties

3. The objective of JSNE is to promote the development of diagnosis and treatment by using neuroendoscope, and to deepen exchanges of knowledge.
4. In order to achieve the objectives of the Japanese Society for Neuroendoscopy(JSNE),as set forth in Article 3 of Articles or the society, the society hold a congress.

Chapter 3 Duties of Members

Members shall have the following duties:
5. Members must approve the objective as set forth in Article 3 of the Articles of the Society. Members must complete the admission procedures as set forth in Article 6 of the Articles of the Society, and a medical doctor will be a full member and a person who are not a medical doctor will be an associate member.
6. The said person who wish to join this Society shall fill out the given application form, and apply to the admission office.
7. Members who admitted as a member shall pay an annual membership fee every year.
8. The said person shall be able to make a presentation at a congress only if the members and the president of the Society approve it.

Chapter 4 Committee

9. The Society comprises executive committees who shall hold a meeting more than once a year. The committee meeting shall be approved with a two-thirds of executive committees present including presence by proxy.
10. The chairperson of a congress shall be elected by executive committee meeting.
11. A candidate for a new executive member shall submit a letter of recommendation from two executive members and C.V. to the executive committee meeting, and the new executive member will be approved at the committee meeting next year. The term of executive committee shall be three years, and reappointment shall not be prevented.
12. The Society shall be able to assign a few administrators and working committees who are approved by the executive committee.
13. The executive committee who is age 65 or over and made a significant contribution to JSNE shall obtain a recommendation as a honorary member from committee. A person eligible to become an honorary member must be a founder of a study group or having an experience as a president.

Chapter 5 Accounting

14. The accounting year of the Society is starting from January 1st to December 31st every year.
15. The administrator of the office and the president of the year announce financial results at the executive committee meeting.
16. This regulation and bylaw shall be revised with the approval of the executive committee meeting.

Bylaws

1. For the time being, annual membership fee is 3,000 yen.
If any member fails to pay the membership fee for over three years, the Society will confirm his or her intention and withdraw from the Society.
2. The Society comprise supporting members who are approved by the Executive committee.
3. As a general rule, one institution shall be able to send only one executive member.

Supplement

1. During initial phases of establishment, president and executive committee shall be elected by the recommendation of facilitator meeting from endoscopic forum.
2. The name of this Society has changed from Japanese study group for Neuroendoscopy in December, 2001.
