Final acceptability is subject to review by the Editorial Committee.
We do not receive manuscripts by E-mail, sorry.

Manuscripts: Two copies of all manuscripts and figures should be submitted. Manuscripts should be printed on one side of paper with double spacing and liberal margins. Pages are to be consecutively numbered.
The first page should include: the title (with or without a subtitle), full names of the authors followed by their highest academic degrees, institutions, sources of any grants (if the authors wish), a running title not to exceed 50 letters (including spaces), and the address for mailing proofs.
The second page should contain a concise summary and up to 10 key words or short phrases not used in the title. The summary should not exceed 250 words.
The introduction to the paper, unlabeled, should provide a brief statement of the specific topic under study and its relation to the field with which the subject is concerned.
Following the introduction, original articles should, as a general rule, be organized with the following headings: Methods (materials and methods), Results, Discussion, and, if necessary, Conclusion. The Methods should contain explicit and concise descriptions of all methods or procedures and materials used in the work. The Methods section should include specific methods used to prepare the data and the level of significance used for hypothesis testing. The Results ordinarily contain the data presented without extended discussion of their significance. The Discussion should be pertinent to the Results and as concise as possible within the limits of the ideas the authors wish to convey.
Authors should express all measurements in conventional units, with System@International (SI) units given in parentheses throughout the text. Use SI units in accordance with the Uniform Requirements (see below).
References to literature cited should be numbered serially in the text and listed in the same order on a separate sheet at the end of the manuscript. The style of references is that of Index Medicus or the American Medical Association (AMA). List all authors when there are six or fewer: when there are seven or more, list the first three then "et al." For further information, please consult Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals (ICMJE 2008).
Printed figures should be identified on the back with the figure number and author name(s); when necessary the top should be clearly marked. Legends for figures should be typed double-spaced on separate sheets. @Each table should be typed on a separate sheet and have a brief heading. Use footnotes for additional explanations.
The approximate position of figures and tables should be indicated in the margin of the manuscript.
For further information, see our Detailed Formatting Guidelines for Authors.

Copyright:Copyright will be transferred to the IHJ Association upon the acceptance of a manuscript for publication. A manuscript can not be reproduced by anyone, except by the original authors, without the permission of the IHJ Association.

Conflict of Interest Policy:Authors of research articles should disclose at the time of submission any financial arrangement they may have with a company whose product figures prominently in the submitted manuscript or with a company making a competing product.
Such information will be held in confidence while the paper is under review and will not influence the editorial decision, but if the article is accepted for publication, the editors will usually discuss with the authors the manner in which such information is to be communicated to the reader.
The International Heart Journal expects that authors of reviews and editorials will not have any financial interest in a company (or its competitor) that makes a product discussed in the article.

Disc and CD Preparation: The document submitted should be formatted in Windows or Macintosh. In all cases, save the text and tables as MS-Word files, the figures as JPEG, GIF, Power Point, or Photoshop files.
Label all discs/CDs with 1) the file format and file name; 2) provide information on hardware and software used; 3) name of the corresponding author.

Publication Costs: Original articles not exceeding 4 printed pages and case reports not exceeding 2 printed pages will be published with a standard acceptance fee of \35,000. The charge for up to 2 additional pages will be \18,000 per page. Any further additional pages will be charged at \32,000 per page. Figures will be charged at \3,000 per figure.
