Our department focuses on two main areas of research: field studies public health and preventive medicine within communities and workplaces, and basic experimental research to elucidate the mechanisms of health damage caused by environmental pollution, as well as to develop novel biomarkers as potential health indicators.
We provide research supervision and education to graduate students and research trainees in this field.
We also offer lectures and practical training in hygiene and public health
for medical students, and deliver related lectures at the Nippon Medical School Nursing School.
