No. 8 Spring in Stockholm

Spring has come to Stockholm. After Easter holidays, a lot of flowers started to bloom and every tree becomes green. In the garden of my apartment, cherry blossoms started to bloom. The cherry blossom here in Stockholm is different from that commonly found in Japan in the point that it has long yolk between the flower and the branch of the tree.

In the first week of May, the daytime became so long that it is still bright after 9pm. Even in the midnight, the northern sky is slightly bright, an omen of the summer.
At lakes, people started to enjoy boats and yachts.
In Stockholm, the arrival of the Spring is followed by early Summer.
