Aburamiso (Fried eggplant and paplica with Miso sauce)


Material

Eggplants

Paprica

Vegitable Oil, Salt, White pepper

Miso (Soybean paste)

Soy sauce

Mirin (Sweet Sake, can be replaced with Sake with sugar)

Method

1. Cut the vegitables as you like.

2. Heat a fry pan and grill it with some oil.

4. If it is well-done, pour Soy sauce and Mirin (1:1) into the pan.

5. Add Miso and solve it in the Soy sauce and Mirin.

6. Boil down the Teriyaki sauce until it becomes dense.

7. Mix well and serve, either hot or cold.

Advises and comments

1. Aburamiso means oil and Miso.

2. You can add some meat (chopped, minced or bacon) if you like.

3. Usually it taste better after several hours, even in next day.
