大学病院の屋上部分に発光ダイオードで看板が設置されている。その設置工事途中に「大病院」の表示になった瞬間があった。大学の意味の「大」の表示だが、「学」が省略されると「大きな病院」の意味に読めてしまう。たしかに大きな病院である。
Once upon a time, there was a big hospital. It was interesting to see the process of the construction of the sign showing “a big hospital”. This photograph was taken on 7th April 2007 under construction of the sign.
The construction has been completed to show up the full spell indicating the name of Nagoya City University Hospital. I certainly remember that it used to be “a big hospital” but now few people may remember the past of the big name.
