IFPA 2026 Equity Support for International Investigators

In view of the high cost to attend IFPA 2026 for international participants, IFPA is pleased to announce special awards for IFPA investigators from low and middle-income countries to attend the meeting.

Criteria for eligibility:

  • (co-)authorship of at least one abstract
  • established investigator (not trainee)

Additional criteria used for selecting awardees:

  • previous involvement in IFPA and/or placental research
  • justification of the need
  • scientific excellence

Application Process:Please send your application to Professor Hirotaka Nishi (nishih@tokyo-med.ac.jp) by June 26, 2026, including:

  • The title of your abstract(s)
  • A resumé/CV (maximum 2 pages)
  • A letter (maximum 1 page) explaining your involvement in placental research and IFPA
  • A justified budget plan

Important Note:Success of an application will require an accepted abstract. If an applicant's abstract is not accepted, the application will be turned down. Outcomes will be sent by email by July 2026.
