Neurophysiology Fundamentals

It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to attend Series II of the AOC-IFCN Hands-on Learning Series at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel in Manila, Philippines, on November 24, 2026.

This one-day program features eight sessions organized by the Philippine Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (PSCN), with the main theme of “Neurophysiology Fundamentals.” It includes a workshop on the basics and essentials of neurophysiology and neuromuscular diseases.

The Hands-on Learning Series will be held as a hybrid conference. Local attendees can participate at the venue, while overseas participants can join online through the conference website.

Professor Riki Matsumoto Elected President of the IFCN

We are pleased to announce that Professor Riki Matsumoto, President of the Japanese Society of Clinical Neurophysiology, has been elected the 20th President of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN). He will begin his four-year term in September 2026 and serve through 2030.

Founded in 1947 under its inaugural President, Herbert Jasper, the IFCN has a long and distinguished history. Professor Matsumoto will become the third President from Asia, following Professor Jun Kimura, the 11th President, and Professor Hiroshi Shibasaki, the 15th President.
