No.10 Summer in Sweden

This summer is really rainy and cold.

However, if the weather is nice, you can enjoy beautiful summer in northern Europe.

In Sweden, taking 4 to 6 weeks vacation is quite common, and the Department eventually becomes less populated.

Here, I would like to write about a typical summer pleasure in Sweden; the boat trip.

The Department charters a boat and organize a trip to Stockholm archipelago every summer. One afternoon, we meet at a quay in the town, and head towards Baltic Sea, and disembark the boat at an island, enjoying meals (usually bread and sallad), drinking beer and wine, and playing on the beach.

On the way back, the boat becomes a disco on the water, and a pleasant day goes on.

Above all, I am always impressed by the beauty of Stockholm, especially from a boat.

There are many of such small islands in the Stockholm Archipelago.

Some already started to drink beers.

Now, going to disembark.

This is the boat.

Everybody is used to make a fire.
