デジタル生体医用画像の「色」シンポジウム |
| The Symposium of the 'Color' of Digital Imaging in Biomedicine |
遠隔医療や電子カルテなど、医療におけるデジタル画像の利用拡大とともに、表示装置等における色の再現性の問題が表面化しつつある一方で、従来とは一線を画する色再現精度を持つマルチスペクトル・イメージング技術が実用化されつつあります。１９９９年５月の第１回シンポジウムでは、デジタル医用画像の「色」は医学・医療の多くの分野にかかわる問題であり、かつその解決には医学と工学の学際的なアプローチが不可欠との認識が高まり、２０００年４月には第２回シンポジウムの開催とともに、新たにデジタルバイオカラー研究会が設立されました。

While the wide spread of digital imaging in medicine, for instance, telemedicine and electronic patient records, is going to generate various problems concerning the color inconsistently reproduced by various display equipment, the multispectral imaging which has far superior accuracy in color reproduction is going to be put into practical use. A common recognition, which was developed at the 1st symposium held on May in last year, that the color problem may affect a wide area of medical science and its practice, and it requires interdisciplinary collaboration of medicine and engineering science to be resolved, has promoted arrangements for the next symposium and establishment of brand-new Digital Biocolor Society at the same time.

本研究班は文部省科学研究費補助金により組織され、尿検査、血液検査、免疫学的検査、微生物検査、生理検査、病理細胞診検査など形態学的判断を要する臨床検査の標準化のため、従来のスライドを使ったコントロールサーベイでは困難であった広範かつ網羅的な外部精度管理を、インターネットを用いて実現しようとするものです。本研究を踏まえ、医用画像の表示方法全般についての標準化に発展させたいと考えています。

Aimed at the standardization of morphological laboratory tests such as urinary tests, hematology, immunology, microbiology, physiology, anatomical pathology and cytology, this research group intend to make the most of the internet to realize comprehensive and individual control surveys for morphological laboratory tests which have not been achieved by conventional methods using slidefilmes. Standardization of the display equipments for medical images will be included
