Regulations

Article 1. Name.
        The Society is to be known as the Kanagawa Regional Branch of the Japan Society for Medical History (hereafter, KJSMH).

Article 2. Purpose.
        The object of the KJSMH is to promote the study of, and dissemination of knowledge concerning, the history of medicine.

Article 3. Activity.
        In order to accomplish the goals of article 2, the KJSMH shall conduct the following activities;
        1) General Meeting,
        2) Academic and Science Lecture Meetings,
        3) Other essential activities relevant to and necessary for achieving the goals of article 2.

Article 4. Membership.
        Persons in agreement with the purpose of the society and desiring to help in the realization of its goals,  who wish to become members, shall be  introduced by a member of the KJSMH.

Article 5. Dues.
        Members shall pay annual dues in the amount of 2,000 Japanese yen, payable at the beginning of each year.

Article 6. Officers.
        The administration of the society shall be entrusted the following officers.
        President (one person); Chief secretary (one person);  Secretaries (several, as deemed appropriate, one of whom shall be an accountant); Auditors (two persons).
        The term of office shall be for two years. Re-appointment for a consecutive term or terms shall be permitted.

Article 7. Honorary President, Adviser.
        The KJSMH may appoint the following: an  Honorary President, and an Adviser. Their terms of office shall be in conjunction with the term of office of the President.

Article 8. Fiscal year.
        The fiscal year of the KJSMH shall run from January 1st through December 31th.
