Dear Colleagues,
We wish to thank all participants in Brian Edema 2002 (The 12th International Symposium on Brain Edema and Brain Tissue Injury) for their attendance, generous cooperation, and support, which culminated in a successful and fruitful symposium. We also wish to express our gratitude to members of the secretariat for their assistance in making the symposium a success.
All the manuscripts received, including from the round table session, are now in the process of preparation for rapid publication by Springer-Verlag Wien as Brain Edema XII in May or June 2003.
The 13th International Symposium on Brain Edema will be held in Ann Arbor, USA, in 2005 under the chairmanship of J. T. Hoff.
