On behalf of the organizing committee of the 76th Annual Meeting of JSAP it is our great pleasure to invite all of you to the 76th Annual Meeting of JSAP to be held in Sapporo from November 23 to 25, 2016.
The organizing committee holds two public symposiums on the day 1 and one special symposium on the day 2. The two public symposiums spotlight the communication behavior in animals. The special symposium introduces neuroscientific studies of learning and cognition in crickets and birds. In addition, we deliver educational lectures of oral presentation in English for beginners on the day 2. The plenary talk is held on the day 3. The team of the plenary talk is Ethology and Learning in Birds.
The organizing committee greatly encourages all of JSAP members to join oral presentations and poster presentations and to present your most-up-to-date studies.
We have the opening party at the Sapporo Beer Garden on the day 1. You can enjoy unlimited drinking of draft beer and eating of Genghis Khan Cuisine (mutton barbecue).
The meeting is held in late November. The mountains in Sapporo will be covered with snow. However, neither snow nor ice covers on the streets in Sapporo. The conference Hall is artificially warmed. You can really enjoy fruitful meetings. If you are lucky, you can meet snow insects (Prociphilus oriens) and the first snow in this season.
We organizing committee are looking forward to seeing all of you in Sapporo, November 2016.
