What is "cancer 3-D culture"?
Cancer 3-D culture methods such as organoid and spheroid culture have been recently developed to preserve the biological characteristics of original tumors better than conventional 2-D monolayer cultures. In particular, tumor-derived spheroid culture have a unique character, because they have advantages for the enrichment of cancer stem cells (CSCs) or cells with stem cell-related characteristics. （Fig.1）
