The deadline is Sep. 21, 2002. Please feel free to send your opinions or questions to the same address. Pursuant to the rules of the grant, each member of the project will be appointed to a Member, a Cooperator (who will not appear in the application form) or a Foreign Co-researcher according to his/her position. [The essential features of the plan] (1) Pictures of dermatological diseases to be provided by Dr. Toshihiko Numahara will be taken with both a multiband camera and a completely calibrated RGB camera. Then the influence of color accuracy on medical diagnosis will be analyzed using these. (2) Dr. Toshihiko Numahara will be appointed as the project leader, and other members will be researchers in academic fields etc. as well as commercial companies providing essential equipment. (3) This plan will constitute a part of applications to a multitude of funding sources of grants for the coming fiscal year. (4) If a member of the project belongs to other projects of similar purpose, any overlap of titles will be avoided. (5) In case Dr. Toshihiko Numahara would become disqualified to be the leader of a research group supported by official grants, another member will take his place as a matter of form.
