At the third symposium held in July of last year, while highly advanced and tangible biomedical applications of color engineering were announced, there was a realization that some distance still existed between these potential applications and actual medical practice. Accordingly, compared to previous symposiums, this time a different pattern has been adopted, where participants would share results of finished studies. This year, every participant is going to stay overnight at a good place to talk with each other over everything without any prerequisites in a relaxed mood with the aim of developing a comprehensive research design to reduce the gap between research proposals and medical practice. Consequently, a limited quota has been set regarding the number of participants. If and when necessary, participants will be requested to consent to appropriate non-disclosure agreements. It is expected that all concerned will appreciate this approach and participate in this new-style Symposium.
