January.  Dr. Ding Xue from Colorado Univ. gave us a talk about the mechanism of apoptosis.

January.  Farewell party (Yokoo-san) and welcome party (Jin-san).

February.  Valentine day gifts from female members.  Thanks!!

February.  New lab member? Mr. Roomba! We hope he will minimize fungi contamination on plates.

May.  An ex-postdoc Dr. Arata gave us a seminar about single molecular imaging in C. elegans

June. An apple pie made from apples (gift from Dr. Arata).  Thanks Dr. Arata and our secretary. It was delicious!

July. At Nara worm meeting, Prof. Sawa gave his talk on No-Butai (a stage of No play).

July. We had mini-sumposium “New Horizon C. elegans Biology” with some of participants of Nara worm meeting

July.  Shaved Ice is GOOOD in summer!

August. Three high school students visited our lab to do some experiments.

September. A temporal student obtained exciting data with only four day experiments. Her presentation was also excellent.

October. Presentation by Uemura-kun at Life Science Retreat of Sokendai

November. Dr. Seita from Stanford Univ. and Dr. Endo from Riken gave us seminars. We went to Numazu port to eat famous kakiage (tempura) bowls.

November. A former graduate student of the lab, Dr. Mizumoto received Tomoizawa award from MBSJ. He will start a new lab at UBC in Canada. Congratulation!!
